writing on the shape of things · sky
Every page began as a question.
Some questions stayed unfinished. Some disappeared after a night's sleep. A few refused to leave.
Those became essays.
The writing here will move between subjects — how things are built, how they quietly break, what people miss when they look at obvious things. Some of it will be about work. Some will not be. If a piece asks to be written, it gets written. If it asks to be short, it stays short.
Begin anywhere. Leave whenever you've found enough.

What the Consensus Cannot SeeA small test for whether a view you hold is actually your own — or whether you inherited it from a room you didn't notice you were standing in.→
-
Survivorship Runs the RoomEvery business book is a study of survivors. The failure sample would be more informative, but nobody wrote it.→
-
The Filter That Ate the QuestionHow the "helpful, harmless, honest" triad quietly ranks helpful and harmless above honest — and what that costs you.→

LinkedIn Became a Casino, and Nobody Noticed Because Everyone Was WinningA tool has a finish line. A casino doesn't. Guess which one your feed is.→
